The Crusader Lodge # 422 and Golden Glow Rebekah Lodge # 299
recently held their Annual
Memorial Service at the Wadestown Cemetery in honor of all Veterans
and all deceased members of the two orders. Due to illness and
accidents several members were absent from the service This has been
a tradition of the two lodges for a very long period of time.
Someone
donated the monument in the early 60's; but the service was long
before this time.each year during the memorial day weekend the
lodges meets to recall all of their beloved members who have gone on
before. This year, there was only one
Rebekah/Odd Fellow sister Virginia King Estel The Sovereign
Grand Lodge sets a time in June for all lodges of the world to have
a special memorial
service, and plans are being made to have that service in
June. At that time, family members are invited to
the service and day of proclamation to the family is presented.
