District Deputy President Patty Fisher Visits
The West Virginia Assembly's District # 4 recently held
their fall convention with the newly appointed District
Deputy, Patricia Fisher of the Harmony Rebekah Lodge #
51. The day was celebrated by the presence of the current
President, Renee Spencer of Harpers Ferry, WV. and the
Vice President, Doris Carney, and the Secretary of the
Assembly, Mary Bess. of Elk View, WV.
The roll call of District Officers was given . The
Chaplin, Rev. Sherman G. Davidson led the group with devotions
and prayer. The address of welcome was given by Past
President Eleanor Pride of Harmony 51, and the
response was given by Karen Miller of Golden Glow 299.
The staff then introduced the Assembly Officers to the group.
The minutes were read of both the Treasurer and the Secretary ,
Glendora Headley.
The District Deputy then appointed the committees of the day.
The coin march was presented by the Marshal, and the Conductor.
The district Soloist, Rev. Sherman G. Davidson presented two of the
presidents songs, "On
the Wings of a Dove" and "The Lighthouse"
Following the morning Session, the Afternoon service began
with a memorial service of the six deceased Sisters since the last
report. Following the business session and the
committee Reports, the group joined together in the singing of
the
"The West Virginia Hills", another of the
President's Songs. The Loving Cup was presented to the
Golden Glow for having the most members present at the convention.

Headley Secretary/Treasurer, Pamela Haymond
Marshal, Aldene Davidson Conductor, Rev.
Sherman G. Davidson Chaplain, Robert Fisher Color
Bearer, Pamela Davidson Inside Guardian, Ann
Pickett Outside Guardian, and Rev. Sherman G. Davidson
as the Musician/Soloist.
