Retread DDP Makes first Visit.

Miriam Rebekah Lodge No. 1 Welcomes DDP

 

Sister Deborah Siers, PP and newly appointed and recycled DDP of District No. 6 was welcomed at the regular meeting of the Parkersburg lodge on Tuesday afternoon, October 19, 2010.

 

Sister Debbie was installed at the recent annual session of the West Virginia Rebekah Assembly held in Flatwoods. She will serve for President Doris Carney.

 

Previously Sister Debbie served as DDP for District No. 7 under the tenures of Sister Mary Tamulitis, 1977 - 1978; Sister Joan Vass, 1978 - 1979 and Sister Mary Ann Thompson Folmar, 1979 - 1980.

 

Sister and Lady Mary Ann Folmar, PP and Treasurer of the Department Association, LAPM of West Virginia was introduced and welcomed.

 

A most informative and beautifully illustrated program of the West Virginia Rebekah Assembly President and the President of the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies was enjoyed by all present.

 

Miriam Rebekah Lodge No. 1 will welcome the official visit of Sister Doris Carney, President at their next meeting which will be held on November 2, 2010.

 

Following the meeting, the group enjoyed delicious pot - luck refreshments and celebrated the birthdays of Sisters Cleone Fansler and Debbie Siers.
