Warden Visits Parkersburg

Sister Janet Cogar, Warden of the WV Rebekah Assembly made her official visit to Miriam Rebekah Lodge No. 1 on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm.

 

Sister Lorrain Beno presided as Noble Grand and Sister Norma Sparks was Vice Grand. Other officers were Sister Cleone Fansler, Secretary and Sister Bernice King, Treasurer.

 

Sister Cogar conducted a mini-workshop; spoke on projects of the Order and announced upcoming events of the Grand Lodge and Rebekah Assembly of WV.

 

The coin march was donated to the Assembly President's project, Low Vision.

 

Brother Bob Stillwagoner, Grand Master, announced he and Rebekah Assembly President, Sister Renee Spencer, would be presenting a memorial wreath at the WV Veterans Memorial at the State Capitol complex in Charleston, WV on Monday, June 14, 2010 at noon and invited all to attend.

 

A most informative program on Flag Day was presented by Sister Debbie Siers and other members of the lodge. Beautiful decorations by Sister Debbie adorned the lodge room and tables of the dining room.

 

Sisters Carolyn Hathaway and Debbie Siers presented a 'one of a kind' beautiful and tasty cake to Brother Bob and Sister Mary Ellen Stillwagoner in honor of their 54th. Wedding anniversary which will be June 5, 2010.
