Sherman G. Davidson, Past Grand Patriarch of the WV Grand Encampment, was honored for 50 years of Ministerial service by several of the churches he served on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Grafton, WV.
Brother Davidson is the founding editor of the WV Oddfellow and Rebekah newspaper. He served the WV Grand Lodge as Chaplain for three years. Also, he has been Musician for the WV Rebekah Assembly for several years. One of his greatest pleasures of service to the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs was Chairman of the Youth Tour to the United Nations.
Attending the service were Past Presidents of the West Virginia Rebekah Assembly, Sisters Glendora Headley, Mary Ann Folmar, Carolyn Hathaway and Deborah Siers. Other members attending were: Sisters Sue Stewart, Debbie Glaspell and Barbara Oldaker and Brother Don Headley.
