Woman makes wedding dress in Kanawha 25 Storefront

 

Rebecca Bolte married Andrew Park in Davis Park during the Charleston Festivall,

What does that have to do with us you ask?  A lot. 

Aldrich Business forms moved out of our first floor leaving a corner location empty on Capitol Street..  Rebecca Bolte contated us with a novel idea.  She and her hubby-to-be were going to be wed during the activities in Davis Park, across the street,  Her idea was to make her own wedding dress.  Okay not to novel yet, but wait.  She made it was scraps and pieces sent to her by friends and relatives.  She also did this while sitting in our Empty store front and letting people watch.  Well not just watch, she also let them come in and sew too.  She even made the grooms suit for the wedding.

In the spirit of friendship and lack of funds for the lady Kanawha provided this space free of charge.  She also asked that in lieu of gifts that friends should donate to Manna Meals, which feeds the poor and homeless.
