I am, indeed, delighted that you seek more information about the highest branch of the Order. We take much pride of the semi-military unit of the IOOF. The constant battle to maintain and increase membership is one that we live with each and every day. Please take a moment to learn more about us and how we make the world a better place.

 

So many people I come in contact with on a day-to-day basis say, "The Patriarchs Militant is nothing but a militia." That is not true.

 

If you take research for a moment about this branch, you will see that we were and still a part of the military. Jewels to recognize our efforts during World War I, World War II, and the Korean wars are on display at Arlington National Cemetery.
